Fino’s Pour Over Coffee Kettle allows precise control when pouring. It’s elegant design is a blend of fashion meets function with a 6-cup (1-liter) capacity. More than a stainless steel tea kettle, the Fino’s narrow spout and gooseneck curve naturally produce the slow and precise water flow critical to extracting the most flavor with the pour over coffee and tea brewing technique. Achieve a more flavorful brew without expensive and bulky machines hogging your precious counter space. For a perfectly brewed 8-ounce cup, place your filter cone (if using one) onto your carafe or cup. Insert a filter. Measure 8 ounces of water into the Fino Kettle and bring to a boil. Turn off the flame and let kettle stand for 12 to 15 seconds, allowing water to cool to the immaculate temperature. Measure 2 scoops of ground coffee into the filter, or grind whole beans to a medium grind with your coffee grinder, and place into the filter. Slowly pour half of the boiled water evenly over the grounds. Wait 30 seconds and allow the coffee to ‘bloom’ – the grounds mix with the water and puff slightly, opening them up to release more flavor. Slowly pour the remaining water over the grounds, in a circular motion, from the center outward. Gently stir the grinds with a spoon to make sure they all are wet. Allow the coffee to finish dripping. Discard the filter and wet grounds, pour your cup, and drink immediately. A excellent gift for tea lovers, at-home baristas and coffee and tea enthusiasts. Fino’s Narrow Neck Tea Kettle is made in Japan from 18/8 stainless steel with a high-temperature, thermoplastic handle. Japan KUTANI A stone monument bearing the inscription "Ko-Kutani kiln ruins" stands quietly in a clearing. It marks the spot where the Daishouji Clan(a branch of the Kaga Clan) established a kiln in about 1655,to make use of the local porcelain stone. Tha porcelain ware that was created there was later called "Ko-kutani" and became the foundation for Japanese colored porcelain ware. Rich overglaze colors applied with fluid brushwork -green,yellow,red,purple and blue- give Kutani porcelain its characteristic beauty. However, only half a century later the kiln was abandoned for reasons that nobody knows. About 100 years later,Kutani porcelain was revived under the patronage of the Kaga clan. The Kasugayama and Wakasugi kilns were established, and kilns such as the Yoshidaya kiln rode on the momentum of "revived Kutani",all producing overglaze porcelain ware. Various characteristic competed and combined to develop into the overglaze techniques that have been handed down to this day. In modern times, the gorgeous Kinrande style(very high-quality design of gold) has become well known in the West as "Japan Kutani" Kutani porcelain, which combined the artistry of Ko-Kutani ware and the utilitarian beauty that developed from "revived Kutani",continues to evolve.

It's beautiful brushed satin finish along with traditional low-profile Japanese style, makes for a surprising showpiece which inevitably will spark the interest of others. Many folks leave their Voltana Kettle on the stovetop for daily use and it's aesthetic, artful appeal.
